From Mobile to Instant – Cell Phone Plus Polaroid

The resurgence of analog instant, provided by the new Polaroid, yields a vast array of options for creative photography. In this 1-day workshop we will create live Polaroid images in a mini studio utilizing studio flash to deliver beautiful and professional portraits, still lifes or model studies. A model will be provided. You will work with the i2, the latest Polaroid flagship camera, offering aperture and shutter priority, plus full manual, and sync with studio flash! You will also use The Polaroid Lab to take an image from your mobile phone screen (iPhone/Android) and print it onto Polaroid color or Black and White film. We will review the new apps that make this even better! You will learn the Polaroid Emulsion Lift technique, which allows you to free your Polaroid image from the frame and place it on a variety of substrates. 4-5 packs of color and B&W Polaroid Film and acid-free cotton watercolor paper for up to 4 lifts will be provided. (Additional film and paper may be available at or near cost.)
